Sole Food Street Farms is a social enterprise that transforms vacant urban land into street farms that grow artisan quality fruits and vegetables, available at farmer’s markets, local restaurants, and through a CSA program. Our mission is to empower individuals with limited resources by providing jobs, agricultural training and inclusion in a supportive community of farmers and food lovers.
Here's how you can work with us:
Restaurant deliveries typically begin in April and end in October/November
We open one Fresh Sheet every week on Monday at 10am
Fresh Sheet: Orders open at 10 am on Monday and close at 2 pm on Wednesday. Delivery or pick-up is between 12 pm - 3 pm on Thursdays. You can sign up to receive our weekly Fresh Sheet here.
Product availability is first come first serve unless we arrange a standing order. Placing a standing order or flexible standing order gives you harvest priority. We discuss standing orders on a case-by-case basis.
Deliveries are free for orders of $125 or more. Deliveries that do not meet our delivery minimum can be picked up at the farm on the pickup date or delivered with an additional delivery fee.
I have attached a seasonal menu that offers an "at a glance" of our schedule and seasonal offerings.
Product availability depends on many factors: our commitments to markets and other chefs, the season, our capacity to harvest or deliver, and forces of nature. We work hard to provide our produce on a consistent basis, and aim to communicate fluctuations in a timely manner. We do offer a limited number of seasonal standing orders on items like our salad greens, kale, collards, chard, tomatoes, and sweet peppers. This will get your kitchen harvest priority when these items are available. Contact us to inquire about this option (orders@solefoodfarms.com).
If you are ever dissatisfied with our product we encourage you to contact us immediately and we will credit or replace these items.
